Yesterday an estimated 4,000 people marched in my lovely city of Toronto’s Slut Walk.
For those of you who are not familiar with the slut walk it was organized in response to a Toronto police officer saying that women should avoid dressing like “a slut” in order to avoid being raped. Although I couldn’t make it to the walk myself, I’m so happy and proud that so many of my fellow Torontonian’s did. Great work guys, I hope this becomes an annual event!

I’ve seen Slut Walks spread themselves around the globe in the past few weeks. The “spread” pun entirely intended. With love.

I would like to get one organized here, but TBTN is in a couple of weeks and it’s kinda the same (maybe?). 

Maybe in May? 

Anyone else from Ohio interested in starting planning for one?

We could put something up on the Tumblr and the Ohioans for Reproductive Rights group on FB.
